Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden continues to fly in private jets and be transported in oversized SUV’s despite his call in 2019 to put fossil fuel executives “in jail” for failing to address climate change.

“Between the years 2021 and 2030, it is irreversible the path we set ourselves on,” Biden noted at a New Hampshire campaign town hall in December 2019.
He continued, talking about how fossil fuel companies have to be responsible for their climate impacts.
“Holding them liable for what they have done…By the way, when they don’t deliver, put them in jail. I am not joking about that,” Biden said to applause at a town hall in Peterborough New Hampshire on December 29, 2019.
One attendee began speaking to Biden, saying, “If we don’t stop using fossil fuels.”
Biden interrupted him by saying, “We’re all dead.”

CNBC reported that Biden “spent way more on private jets in the third quarter than his top 2020 Democratic rivals.” “The Biden campaign spent nearly $924,000 on private jet travel in the third quarter, according to data from the Federal Elections Commission,” CNBC reported.

But despite wanting to keep fossil fuels in the ground, Biden can’t seem to stop using them in the air via private jets. Below is a video of Biden in August 2020 going from an SUV to a private jet.

The Biden campaign spent nearly $924,000 on private jet travel in the third quarter, according to data from the Federal Elections Commission.
South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s campaign, by comparison, spent $443,000 on private jets. Sen. Elizabeth Warren spent more than $132,000 on private air travel, and Sen. Bernie Sanders spent more than $360,000. …

He’s known as “Amtrak Joe,” but former Vice President Joe Biden’s presidential campaign spent a lot more money on private air travel during the third quarter than his top rivals for the 2020 Democratic nomination. The Biden campaign spent nearly $924,000 on private jet travel in the third quarter, according to data from the Federal Elections Commission. South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s campaign, by comparison, spent $443,000 on private jets.
Biden’s big spending on private jets was disclosed in an official campaign finance filing that showed the former vice president’s campaign had nearly $9 million in cash on hand heading into the fourth quarter. …

Biden’s campaign did not reply to a request for comment from CNBC…Biden’s campaign did spend $44,000 on Amtrak travel during the quarter – about twice as much as Buttigieg, Sanders and Warren combined in the same time period.

While speaking at a campaign stop in Peterborough, New Hampshire over the weekend, Democrat White House hopeful Joe Biden suggested throwing fossil fuel executives in jail if they don’t accept responsibility for allegedly destroying the environment. Perhaps he’s saying that in case there is an investigation of Burisma and his son Hunter will need friends in prison. fossil fuel execs jail

A post at Townhall noted:

In order to curb the rate of pollution, Biden explained, we need to hold fossil fuel executives “liable for what they have done, particularly in those cases where there are underserved neighborhoods.”

When they don’t deliver, Biden offered, “put them in jail.”

Some spectators noted his obliviousness. Surely he didn’t forget that his son Hunter was on the board of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian gas company that was being investigated for corruption? I mean, it has been in the news lately.

Morano: “This is a man, Sen. Sanders, who was on Colbert again, last night warned of it being dangerous climate change, but he can’t even for an ounce walk the walk or walk the talk and his situation here.”
